The Marble House Project in Vermont
A very untraditional venue, the Marble House Project is actually a historic property that’s home to a multi-disciplinary residency. As such, the property is stunning and truly a work of art with cascading marble staircases and lush greenery. When they came to us, Jenn and Linnea said they envisioned a colorful, al fresco, multi-course tasting dinner that reflected their love of elevated restaurant style dining, creative cocktails and great conversation.
Our team has never prepared so heavily for a wedding day. Because of the venue, the event had countless details and moving parts. The property is large, and each location is a distance from the next. The couple wanted their guests to experience the beauty of the full venue instead of a few key areas. That’s one of the reasons we love blank-slate weddings so much: we get to prioritize your wishes and the guest experience to make your day truly unforgettable.
The Greenery at Mckenzie’s Farm in New Hampshire
We love planning weddings at The Greenery at Mckenzie’s Farm, and for good reason! Unlike most wedding venues, The Greenery allows only one wedding per weekend. Couples can access the venue for the entire weekend, meaning they can host multiple events at the venue throughout! It’s perfect for couples who want a welcome party, rehearsal dinner, and day-of getting ready to happen all at one venue.
We also love that it’s a true blank-slate venue, where couples get to select and bring in all the rentals and vendors for the day. Each wedding planned here looks completely different. Case in point: we’ve planned countless weddings here including Chelsey and Billy and Emily and Dan!
Florals abound at the Promise Gardens in the Adirondacks
For couples willing to travel slightly out of the New England area, The Promise Gardens in the Adirondacks is a beautiful option for nontraditional couples. You can never have too many florals at your wedding, and the gorgeous blooms at Julia and Ashley’s wedding prove that! They got married at the Promise Gardens, and the natural florals that make up the aisle and altar are truly a show-stopping feature. Julia and Ashley made this venue completely their own, with a bountiful grazing table, a signage chart made from cutting boards, and everyone waving handheld pride flags as they walked back down the aisle to celebrate their love.
